If I'm at the match then for the rest of the day and sometimes over the next day or two I can be in a bad mood, especially at the shit hole stadium we're at now as it's not even enjoyable anymore if we lose. Before if we lost at least I'd had a laugh in the process.

If I don't go to the match I just don't think about the result to be honest.

I fucking hate losing... I don't get grumpy at home but usually at work where some wise arsed Y word or a Plastic has something ironic to say...

(I'll get cunted off for this though)... I always back against us, I can't back us to win EVER... leaving the ground early on a night game (I have to leave early to get the train home as I live down the south coast). I heard fucking Stoke score and was so pissed off. I cashed out though (cheeky 50 notes) and then by the time I got to the Stratford tube we'd equalised so felt alot better.....

Win last about a day , a defeat last a week.

With West Ham I have been depressed for a long time .

Keddy, if and when both Stoke and Southampton get relegated, I’ll be laughing as fans on both sites (Oatcake and Saintsweb) have commented recently that they hate our team and supporters the most out of all those in the Premier League 🤷🏼‍♂️💁🏼‍♂️

SEKFZ. In Stoke you are forced to make your own entertainment after Pullis, Hughes and now Lambert, Oatcake is a no frills site for the desperate, hardbitten and fatalistic. Most of them seem to have built up an immunity to all the setbacks and are cackling as they go under.

As Keddy said, but any defeat by Tottenham (the last minute winner by Bale, match, in particular) and the 2-4 home defeat by Reading, had me furious for days.

In terms of affecting me, the Reading one in particular, especially the gloating by their fans and over the top cockiness of their players, was the worst defeat for me in recent memory.

I think it depends on many factors. How you're feeling at the time. the club we're playing, level of hope or expectation the level of effort put in, etc.As many have said, any defeat by Tottenham is pretty bad. A couple of last minute defeats and FA cup exit were hard to swallow. I"m usually over the thing in a day or two, looking forward to the next game, rinse and repeat. However, the home defeat against Brighton, abysmal as it was, was totally offset by being my first home game at the new stadium. I was totally amazed that we were actually playing in this huge place with a huge crowd. Singing Bubbles at the beginning sort of eclipsed the half hearted effort on the pitch. Some defeats are so awful that they have become legendary. The 1-0 defeat to Stoke at home in the Fizzy League, for example, . i didn't go to that, but I kind of wish I had. It sounded so bad that it has become legendary. Maybe the very worst game that anyone ever saw at the Boleyn

I remember the last time I got really pisssed off was after the spurs game (Tevez’s first goal) which we obviously went on to lose, but this was in part down to my feet killing me.

I went back to the vic after the game, but the new trainers I was wearing were too small, thanks to the idiots sending the wrong size, so on arriving back home, I took the fucking things off once I got off the tube, and flung each trainer as far as I could in opposite directions, whilst swearing at the cunting things. I arrived home shoeless, and pissed. My bird wasn’t too pieased. She did go back over the station looking for them in the morning and came back with one, bless her.

Its normally the manner of the defeat that gets me e.g. When that cunt Mike Dean sent off Feghouli when he should have sent off that oaf Jones from Manchester United. Bobby Madley giving Bournemouth the draw with his corrupt decision to overule the linesman. Gutless displays where we concede a goal on the half hour and then capitulate. Also any game lost to the 4B2s especially when the retard scores.

Dosn't really bothet me what happens on the oitch,after 54 years i think i'm imune to both elation and despair. But what has happened to the club generally in the last few years breaks my fucking heart.

It used to piss me off quite badly, but I think it has a lot to do with the company you're in. When younger and hanging out with the lads all the time, your team was the butt of somebody else's jokes and piss taking most weeks, and as we were/are mostly crap I was having it taken every week. But as you get older and you don't hang around with the lads so much it wears off.

Still pisses me off inside though, more so when the team/management board seem as if they're doing fuck all to prevent it.

Still have fantastic memories of the cup run through to winning at Wembley in '80 though.

can't say i miss having my weekend ruined but miss that buzz when we score. feels about equivalent to winning £2 on a £1 scratchcard as is.
